You may have heard by now that the ninth-annual Perfect Chapter ran in conditions that were just about as good as conditions get. Nic von Rupp won for a third time, nabbing a perfect 10 along the way that had spectators on the beach screaming in excitement. The Perfect Chapter, once again, delivered on its promise to run only on the best day of the Portuguese winter. It’s hard to imagine Carcavelos getting much better than it was yesterday, a day made all the more special by the fact that Carcavelos is a fickle place.
