Two days after the storm of the decade, a huge, long-period swell accompanied by offshore winds reached the northern coast of California. I was there to capture it. In the following feature I decided to capture the swell’s character in just one day. Trying to maximize the quality of images in such a short amount of time was an excellent photography exercise. All of these images were taken between 11 a.m and 5 p.m.
