The oil spill, thankfully, didn’t impact San Diego, even though it sadly did a number on north Orange County beaches. And the waves last week proved that. According to the YouTube page SoCal Surfer, there wasn’t a spot of oil in a single lip at this San Diego spot. Which we’re almost positive that most everyone who rides waves appreciates. The channel recently published 12 minutes of footage featuring tasty, makeable barrels as a solid 3-5-foot swell was held open thanks to offshore winds, making it look like a really fun day.
