Jaleesa Vincent is an extremely interesting person. The Queensland surfer is a lot more than just a surfer. She’s an artist, a musician, a dancer, and plenty of other things. She’s a freesurfer, which, as you know, can mean a lot of things.
In Vincent’s case, it means she gave up on the QS grind a few years back and took an artist’s route: different boards for different waves and a kind of flowy, stream-of-consciousness surfing that’s like a massage for the eyeballs to watch. She’s an interesting woman and that’s why Occy got her on the line for his newest installment of the Occ-Cast.
