Neoprene is a wonderful, wonderful thing. It’s not so great for the environment, unfortunately, which can’t be understated. And some companies are trying to do more to make it better. But all that aside, in terms of expanding the frontiers of surf exploration neoprene has been pivotal. Fifty years ago, a combo surf trip/adventure to see the Northern Lights would have been unheard of. Now, it’s downright common. One look at the video above is enough to see why. Places like Norway are stunning. Behold.
