The North Shore is an interesting place. Every year, thousands of surfers/surf fans show up to the seven-mile-miracle, and blow the place up with a bag of incredible surfing from all over the planet. Of course, the locals are generally the ones who steal the show–calling the best waves in the world home lends itself to a certain amount of comfort in a what can be a very uncomfortable place.
