The typical summer in New Jersey consists of many things: beach badges, angry “locals,” crowded beaches, but waves aren’t normally on the list. This summer has been far from usual. We have been lucky enough to get winter waves in the middle of summer. There have been a few surfers who have been on it, chasing down every swell coming our way – guys like Sam Hammer, Mike Gleason, Tommy Ihnken, and Liam Mahoney.
