The Inertia

Longboarding’s a trip, ain’t it? It’s strange that, in a pastime so obsessed with style, so many surfers hate on longboarding. Granted, the ones that hate on it generally awkwardly hump their way down the line on a tiny slice of foam far too small for them, bent over at the waist like they’re trying to pick up some fallen style off the ground, but still. Nelson Ahina is a longboarder with more style in one of the toes he hangs from the nose than most surfers have in their whole bodies. He’s an interesting mix of progressive longboarding and old school logging, and we are liking it.
