Nazaré pumped yesterday. Garrett McNamara and friends were on it. A huge wave was surfed by English madman Andrew Cotton. Thousands flocked to O Sítio. Business as usual? Almost. The security issue still remains in the air. And yesterday’s northwest swell and extreme tide must have reminded everyone that this is no joke of a place to tow in. Still hundreds of perfect massive waves marched through the north canyon unridden. Personally, I think that’s great because I love shooting empty lineups anyway.
