$A trip to New Zealand to hunt along the East Coast of the South Island for remote beach breaks and whatever else we could fit in. We took the luck to book in the early stages of winter unfolding. Not sure if it was the smartest move. It was fuh-ree-zing. After many treks across the ditches of the South Island, walking along side seals and sea lions, we stumbled across this fine looking beach break. $Cyclone Marcia left-overs keeping loggers happy at Noosa. As night time was approaching, surfers still slid down the line. I slowed the shutter right down and captured this relaxed surfer cruising his way along first point, scoring the remaining lumps of Marcia. Just another human with an eye and megapixels. I’m 19 and I grew up on the Sunshine Coast. I’m a keen ocean lover and I believe there’s no better feeling than kicking the day in the ocean getting that salty vibe. Always looking for new ideas and experiences to document.
