Excuse me, world’s biggest hovercraft coming through. Don’t mind me.

The Inertia

Whether they were looking for that famous break near Kaliningrad, stopping to use the bathroom or ask directions, they seem to have missed their target. Badly. The driver of a 550-ton Russian military hovercraft must’ve been asleep at the hover-wheel as the beast barreled straight for shore. Quickly enough, the Zubr–the world’s largest hovercraft–was dry-docked on the sands of a beach where no one seemed to be fazed by what was going on. There isn’t much movement amongst spectators. Everyone seems to be watching intently as the world’s largest, most intimidating and barely flying military vehicle heads straight for a crowd of strangers.

On the other hand, it would be nice to assume that this oversized transportation vehicle was doing local surfers a favor by creating a little wave. Seems as though they could use it too. Looks a bit flat there.

Whatever was going on in this video clearly didn’t end up the way it was supposed to. Someone should tell the hovercraft captain. He’s still clueless.
