The Wright family is obscenely talented when it comes to surfing. Owen, Tyler, and Mikey all have very different styles, but all of those styles are just flat-out insane. Mikey’s a little more free-spirited than the others, which makes for good viewing. Mikey Wright was recently the recipient of an injury wildcard into the Bells event, where he’ll replace Liam O’Brien.
So it could be said that the timing of the release of a handful of films on PrettyPhysics.com is a shot across the bow of all the other competitors who are likely a little nervous about coming up against him. Whether it is or not, we’ll likely never know for sure, but either way we’re glad these videos exist.
