You’ve heard it before: Mikey February has style. It’s sort of become a cliched observation at this point. Like calling Kelly Slater the GOAT, Jamie O’Brien a Pipeline master, or Joel Tudor a grumpy curmudgeon. But damnit, they’re cliches because they’re true.
The latest evidence of that comes courtesy of the YouTube channel JBAY TV. Its latest post presents an edit of the South African phenom carving up a panoply of shapely waves at (surprise, surprise) Jeffrey’s Bay.
It’s also a nice sampling of another quality February is known for – riding a stunning variety of alternative and traditional surf craft. Here, we see him on not only a few of the fishes and twin pins that he’s famous for, but also some of your more performance oriented thrusters and quads.
All in all, it’s a feast for the eyes and…extremely stylish. Please forgive us for dipping into cliché just one more time.
