The Inertia

Quarantine life ain’t the easiest. Unless you’re a total shut-in who enjoys spending all of your time on the couch with the shades pulled, you’re likely getting a little sick of being stuck inside for more of your life than usual. You can do a few things to make life a little better, though: get off the couch and focus on all those things you always wanted to do but never had time for. Try and learn to play an instrument. Start writing a novel. Learn to make a whole bunch of good food. Or get into really good shape. You know who’s in good shape? Mick Fanning. He was among the first professional surfers to actually start acting like an athlete, and it paid off.

If you’re new to working out, it can be an intimidating thing. You might think you need a gym membership or a whole bunch of equipment, but all you really need to get started is a few minutes and a bit of floor-space. And if you’re a surfer, you probably want to get in better shape for surfing. That’s what Mick Fanning trains for, and in the YouTube tutorial above, he gives us a run-down on what his at-home workout consists of.
