Some men hunt for money. Others hunt for women. Then there are the ones who hunt for barrels, clear water and empty lineups (although we also hunt the other stuff sometimes, as well). I was lucky enough to indulge in a two-month stint in the Mentawai islands. Rarely does an hour go by when you are not staring at an empty pumping lineup, you are out in an empty pumping lineup, or there is a 50-pound Spanish Mackerel on the line.
