May has finally arrived to the Mexican coastline, and May means super swells. For those that haven’t forgotten (which should be no one) it was in early May of last year when Mark Healey paddled into one of the biggest, scariest waves ever ridden out there. Of course, last year was a bit of a different story, but the fact remains that May is generally a really, really good month at Puerto Escondido. This year, it’s already shaping up to be a good one.
