Santa came right on time for Maverick’s surfers. On Christmas Day, California’s best big wave came to life in the glassiest of fashions.
Among those who paddled out were Alo Slebir, Hunter Murison, Tony Laureano, Sacha Bongaertz, and Luca Padua, all of whom can be seen in the video above, which was made by Mavericks Awards.
Although it wasn’t as big as it gets there, the conditions were just about perfect. Half Moon Bay doesn’t get much prettier than this, does it?
