Being apart of the Matix team is a dream come true. I was always a huge fan growing up, watching guys like Daewon skate and Gabe Kling surf for them. What gets me is that they have always had a tight crew of guys and incredible clothes. Their image was something I always associated myself with.
Now being a part of the program, it’s even better than I’ve imagined. The tight crew I have looked up to all work their asses off to give you first quality product and a solid brand image that makes you feel good. Right out of the gates, we’ve seen eye to eye on working on different video projects and ideas. With Matix being Los Angeles based, I’ve been able to go in, sit down, talk about and see future product lines, etc. It’s great to have the same roots.
I’m really excited to be signing on this year and growing with their already solid surf program. My brother, Mike and I are going to be working on some cool stuff, so stay tuned…
