Mason Ho never saw a rock he couldn’t surf directly on top of. Of course, he’s known for his creative surfing in general, but his trademark has become surfing in boulder-strewn boneyards that defy reason.
He doesn’t always surf down the road less traveled, though. Sometimes, Mason is just in it for some good clean fun. In the latest video, posted to his YouTube channel, Mason goes for a session that has an uncharacteristic lack of stomach-churning antics. Instead, the raw edit shows the North Shore scion taking on fun, (relatively) inviting waves alongside Harry Bryant, Parker Coffin and Baby Bear.
As always, Ho took some time after the edit to give a look at what he was riding: the …Lost Rad Zapper. The Cheyne Horan-inspired board is a new model for 2025, and the latest of a run of retro-inspired craft from Biolos. It looks like a solid offering to be sure, but then again basically anything will under Mason’s feet.
