Mason Ho certainly knows how to wring as much fun out of surfing as he possibly can. When the average Joe sees an un-makeable closeout, Mason sees a barrel section. Air sections are everywhere. Waves to Mason are like an ever-changing skatepark. On a recent trip to California, Mason headed to Newport Beach, a place that generally has more surfers than available waves. Sharing the lineup with someone who surfs as well as Mason does is pretty amazing — just look at the surfers in the background at the tail end of most of the waves you see in the video above. They’re seeing an example of what’s possible… as long as you can surf like Mason surfs.
