The Inertia

When summer hits Oahu, it’s normally a relatively sure bet that the North Shore is going to go into hibernation. And while that’s not always the case (certainly not this summer) surfers’ eyes generally look towards the southern side of the island, but most are fine with lowering expectations. It’s summer, after all, and summer in Hawaii doesn’t mean massive waves.

However, on August 17, Ala Moana Bowls lit up. Mason Ho, Michael Ho, Mike Akima, Tosh Tudor, and Greg Nakamura were there to get amongst it, and what a way to spend a summer’s day!
