Soon, the long-running surf film series Snapt will conclude with its fifth installment. Snapt5 was announced a year ago with a compilation of Clay Marzo surfing Desert Point, and from there the hype train had left the station.
The latest breadcrumb for the upcoming surf-porn epic comes from Mason Ho. In a post to his YouTube channel, the North Shore rock-dodging aficionado showed off a nighttime session at the West Coast artificial wave factory known as the Palm Springs Surf Club.
This wasn’t any old night-surf though, as the proceedings were bathed in the vaporwave-tinted glow of neon disco lights. “Snapt5 coach Chucky master hosts a night surfing rave pool disco party at Palm Springs,” read the caption for the video. “Mason Ho and Ian Crane take full advantage of the situation!”
