Mason Ho has this thing he can do where he’ll find an empty wave, then surf it so well it looks easy. Then, before he knows it, the crowd is out there with him. There are a lot of little waves on the North Shore that depend on how the sand is built up, and this is one of them. It doesn’t break often, but you can bet when it does Mason and his partner in crime, Sheldon Paishon, will be there. And when it’s breaking, you can bet that anyone who surfs it ends up with a lot of sand in their shorts.
