There’s no way you’ve forgotten about Super Swell Saturday. It was probably the biggest, cleanest surf a lot of people had ever seen. Waimea was massive. But when one surfs very big and very perfect waves, one will wipeout. It’s impossible to surf without wiping out, but when one is surfing waves the size of the waves that Mark Healey surfs, those wipeouts are going to be… bad.
