We all know Malibu’s reputation: right-hand point, crowded, world famous. Crowded. But there’s a reason the wave is so famous. Take away everything else, though, all the Hollywood hype and surfing history, and Malibu is just a really good wave. There’s a reason its enjoyed by the masses.
That’s why I put together eight minutes of raw surf clips with full sets rolling into Malibu on April 17th. The south swell season is about over. That means an adios to summer. So enjoy the footage. It’s just about time to flip the swell calendar.
