Makua Rothman is an interesting guy. He’s a big wave world champion, a hunter, a musician, a family man, and his last name is Rothman. He lives a peaceful life on the North Shore. The World Surf League stopped by for this episode of Lawn Patrol. They knocked on the door and asked for a tour, and Makua showed them around.
His trophies don’t sit on a mantle in the middle of the living room for all to see. Instead, they sit unassumingly above the kitchen sink, tarnishing in the sea breeze.
There are a million toys in the garage, both for the kids and for him, and a big Rottweiler eats slippers that are left outside the front door for too long. Upstairs, there’s a bit of a recording studio. Paintings of the kids hang on the walls. It’s a nice life, isn’t it?
