I spent two days in Malibu during this past south swell, filming some of the most fun surf I’ve seen in a long time. It left me wondering, was this the best swell we’ve seen at Malibu since Hurricane Marie? So I checked in with Luke Davis, Hunter Jones, and Travis Logie to talk about all things Malibu, like the madness that ensues when waves this good show up at one of the most crowded lineups in all of Southern California.
Watching these waves roll in for two straight days was simply mesmerizing. Unfortunately, the surf forecast looks bleak so I’m left grasping these memories until something new pops up on the radar. Hopefully, that happens sooner rather than later.
