There is no doubt about it, we definitely get good barrels here in Los Angeles. The only problem is, it’s a very rare occurrence. But when the swell and winds come together, it’s pretty magical. Last week, after a series of storms that swell came to be and I was able to capture 16 minutes of raw barrel-riding footage right here at home.
And man, did the talent come out to play. Surfers like Yadin Nicol and Alex Gray were on hand to take advantage of the primo conditions. I posted an edited version as well but this is pure raw, just the footage, of surfers making quite a few good ones. No hype, just surfing a rare good day in L.A. Enjoy!
