At Newport’s Wedge, the locals rule the roost. There are a handful of people out there on every big swell, and they wouldn’t miss it for the world. One of those guys is high school junior Charlie Wiggs. Charlie can be found buzzing around Newport surfing Wedge, grubbing at some of his favorite spots and building motorized bicycles.
