Lennox Head point break surf

The Inertia

The waves at Lennox are, in a word, perfect. The world-famous righthand point break is something straight out of a child’s doodle. From above, lines roll in and wrap around the point, creating waves that seem too good to be true.

But since it’s in Australia, the crowds there can be trickier than the wave itself. The locals rule the place more than many other spots, so if you’re a visitor it would behoove you to keep your manners in mind.

Torren Martyn can surf extraordinarily well on any wave he rides, but Lennox Head seems to suit his surfing particularly well. Raw Surfing put together the clip you see here showing Martyn and a handful of locals making the absolute most of one of the best waves in the world.
