And no one has proved their right to sit upon the Lowers throne quite like Kelly Slater has. After all, who other than Kelly gets barreled at Lowers? “Kelly has been the one guy at Lowers that’s kind of defined the spot and how to surf it. And he’s been the guy there over the last 20 years.”
