Editor’s Note: Grant’s images were taken during a photography workshop in Bali. Led by an absolute titan in the surf photography world, Art Brewer, the workshop ran throughout June, and included some of the finest up-and-comers on the planet. The combination of landscapes, culture, and surfing in Indonesia lends itself perfectly to finding a new depth in the student’s work. We’re showcasing the work of the students at the workshop, and trust us when we say that, under Art Brewer’s tutelage, these are some of the best images you’ve seen. Grant Taylor has been a stock photographer for over twenty years. His images has been used commercially throughout the world for many years. He mostly specializes in travel photography and has traveled extensively, having journeyed to all seven continents. He enjoys exploring new and different locations on each trip. More recently he has taken an interest in surf and wave photography and currently resides in Hawaii.
