The Inertia

It was a dream week along the Portuguese Coast. Waiting for what was supposed to be the biggest swell ever at Nazaré, the days building up to it all saw perfect waves around two meters high with moderate offshore winds blowing, providing all-day surf sessions from first light until sunset. And the hot, sunny days were reminiscent of summer in Portugal. At one point, I saw three different spots in Ericeira breaking to absolute perfection on the same day. For sure, this was a week to remember. How lucky are we to live in a country like Portugal?
