Lakey Peterson must have some insider knowledge the rest of us just aren’t privy to. Duh! She’s on the Championship Tour. She has been for years now, so it was probably no coincidence that she joined Mike Parsons and Caroline Marks in Santa Cruz for a little pre-season training – which is especially relevant considering SC was added back to the CT for the 2021 season by the WSL on Tuesday, November 10 (for reference, her vlog was posted on November 8). It’s no secret the athletes were probably involved somehow in the decision making process for the new schedule. Lakey, always one of the most hard-working surfers on tour, was just doing her due diligence. And by the looks of it, she seems more than ready to start competing again.
