Lakey Peterson has been dancing around a world title for years. Finishing second in 2018 and third in 2019 and 2020, the California native has fallen just short of victory time and time again since her rookie year in 2012. Heading into the fourth stop of the Championship Tour, Peterson is sharing the number two position with five-time world champ Carissa Moore.
With the Bells Beach stop rapidly approaching, Peterson is getting as much water time as possible in hopes of taking over the coveted yellow jersey.
