In the world of professional surfing, it seems that everyone and their mothers are moving to San Clemente, California. Jordy Smith, Adriano de Souza and Filipe Toledo are just a few among many who are relocating to the place where the locals often describe their hometown as having “the best climate in the world.” The value of proximity is one merit of San Clemente. The presence of the surf industry combined with the close proximity to most WCT stops makes Southern Orange County an ideal location to call home (ask any Aussie how tough it is to get anywhere from Australia).
