Good sweet lord, could you even imagine this wave? It’s what Kelly Slater was striving for with the Surf Ranch. It is the wave everyone dreams of. It is Shangri-La, Paradise, the Fountain of Youth, and the Holy Grail. It is what we all search for, but will likely never find. Koa Smith, however, found it. According to the man flying the drone, he traveled over a mile, got tubed eight times, and surfed for two minutes straight. Oh, and here’s what it looked like from Koa’s point of view. Be careful, though, because this is like Icarus flying too close to the sun type of shit.
