You surely have not forgotten about the time Waimea went bonkers. Not just Waimea, in fact, but the entire North Shore, the outer reefs, and over on Maui, Jaws. We’ve seen a lot of footage come out of that massive swell, but we’re not tired of it just yet.
Koa Rothman, a man who likes surfing big waves very much, made sure that he was in the spot at Waimea on the day the Eddie didn’t go. He, along with John John Florence, Eli Olson, Koa Smith, and Ivan Florence, all went full send, and we like to see it.
