The Pipe season sure has opened up with a bang, hasn’t it? It’s still early-season, the North Shore has been rocked by two solid, back-to-back swells that lit the crown jewel up like a spotlight. And Koa Rothman, as you would expect, has been drinking deeply from the overflowing cup. It was a long summer for Pipe specialists, most of whom were stuck at home while their summer trips to summer waves were put on hold, but now that the season is upon, they’re making up for lost time.
