If you are Koa Rothman or Billy Kemper, you were lucky enough to grow up surfing extraordinarily good waves. You were also talented and driven enough to get good enough at surfing those waves to make a name and a career for yourself. But even if you grew up surfing Hawaii’s perfect waves, a change of scenery can be nice. Which is why they recently went to Fiji to surf Cloudbreak, one of the most mind-bogglingly perfect waves that exists on this pale blue dot. With a set of retro surfboards shaped by the legendary Jon Pyzel, they made sure to squeeze every last drop out of the trip.
