When Kirra is on, there’s no wave on Earth quite like it. And on Friday, December 2, Kirra was most definitely on. It was thanks to a low sitting just off the coast, pushing overhead swell directly into the world-famous point. It wasn’t an easy day to surf, though — the wind was howling and the waves were absolutely smoking, but for those lucky enough to get into one… well, they’re not going to forget it for a long, long while.
