Killer whales aren’t dangerous to humans. Sure, they might be if we lock them in a tiny pool for their whole lives, make them do tricks, and pretend it’s for “research” (looking at you, Seaworld), but in nature, we’ve got nothing to worry about. Unless you’re a seal that’s somehow managed to read and use the internet, that is.
The video above happened at the Lofoten Masters, a REAL cold water classic, and despite the fact that the guy in the heat probably knew that he wasn’t in any real danger, he should have been awarded a 10 for remaining calm when a pair of killer whales decided they wanted to join the contest. And yeah, he claimed it. No one’s arguing that claim.
