There aren’t too many waves on this watery planet that instill more fear in a surfer’s heart than The Right. When it’s on — like really and truly on — it’s not a place for the faint of heart. Which is good, because the only people who are interested in surfing there have hearts that would never ever faint. People like Kerby Brown, a bonafide hellman out of Western Australia who doesn’t much care if you know his name or not. Aside from his family, Brown has a singular love affair with big, scary slabs, so there’s no better person to give the average viewer a walk-through of a place the average surfer will never surf.
