The Inertia

Kelly Slater has spent a lot of his life traveling. He’s been on tour for about 1,000 years now, and since the tour has been stopping in the same places (give or take a few, of course) for most of those years, he’s gotten to know some of them very well. One place he’s fallen particularly in love with is Hawaii.

It’s a second home of sorts, if one can put his homes in numerical order, so it makes sense that Conde Nasté Traveler, maker of many a travel listicle, enlisted the GOAT to act as a virtual travel guide for Oahu. From his favorite places on the island, including food trucks to Pipeline, Slater gives advice from a man who’s been there and done that.
