Keala Kennelly is a serious standout when it comes to big waves. For years, she’s been the women’s standout in all things massive. There’s a dedicated crew of females that are right along with her now–Paige Alms, for one.
Back in December, Keala showed up at Maui’s most famous big wave spot, found a good one, made a pretty damn amazing drop, and gets a little snowed at the bottom. Giora Koren was on hand to film the ride, and now it’s an entry in the Billabong Ride of the Year category of the 2015 XXL Big Wave Awards.
