Did you know that Kai Lenny has a vlog? We didn’t, either! He does, though, and it’s perfect. Kai, that always-smiling super athlete/waterman extraordinaire, put together a hilarious short video in which, after competing in the Da Hui Backdoor Shootout, he misses his flight to Maui and decides to take an unconventional approach to getting there. Of course, he didn’t actually foil to Maui… but if there’s anyone who can, it’s Kai Lenny. Remember that time he foiled the 50-mile channel from Big Island to Maui? “The longest Hydrofoil downwinder I’ve done so far,” he said at the time. “With the longest swells I’ve ridden so far. Fifty miles on the foil during my first crossing of the Alenuihāhā Channel (Hawai’i Island to Maui).”
After he (supposedly) foils his way to Maui, we get a look inside the day-to-day life of one of the world’s most well-rounded ocean athletes, and damn, doesn’t it look good? Kai Lenny is doing life right!
