Over the weekend, late season North Pacific energy mingled with a little early season Southern Hemisphere energy bringing much-needed surf to wave-starved Southern California.
Conditions were perfect for the 2019 Rincon Classic, and during the “expression session” it’s fair to say Kai Lenny expressed himself – pulling two backflips on a single wave. Granted, the guy was strapped to his board, but it’s still downright impressive.
From hydrofoiling in very strange flying squirrel-looking suits to pushing the boundaries in paddling, windsurfing, and big wave, it’s safe to say Lenny’s on his own trip. We dig it.
