If you surf a lot, you likely have a bit of a quiver built up on a rack somewhere. Depending on the kind of person you are, you might even have a pile of old clunkers that you almost never use, but can’t seem to part with. Surfboards hold memories in them, and the more waterlogged they are, the more memories they hold. But if you’re Kai Lenny, your quiver requires more than a rack — it requires an entire garage.
That’s because Kai Lenny is a Jack of all trades. A master of them, too; a guy who excels at almost anything he puts his mind to. His surf garage is full of toys, from surfboards to Jet Skis to just about anything else he uses to squeeze the most fun out of life, and in the video above, he walks us through the place. He also shows how he uses uses his GoPros to film all that fun.
Unlike many surf garages, it’s exceedingly well organized. His boards are not waterlogged. They are stacked from longest to shortest. There doesn’t seem to be a layer of old wax coating the entire floor. But if you’re Kai Lenny and you depend on your equipment to the extent that he does… well, it (literally) pays to keep your gear tight.
