Kai Lenny is a bit of a magician. He’s one of the most well-rounded watermen (or a surfer or whatever you want to call him) in the world. Windsurfing? Check. Big wave surfing? Check, check. Regular surfing? Check, check, and check. If there’s water and a board involved, Kai Lenny is going to be good at it. That’s why we’re not surprised to see Kai foiling behind a boat and doing backflips.
Lenny headed to Austin, Texas to surf at BSR, and during his down days, got behind a Malibu M240, a boat that costs somewhere in the $300,000 mark. It has nearly 5,000 pounds of ballast and something called Surf Gate Fusion® that, if you’re into that kind of thing, makes one of the best boat wakes in the world.
