You know already that Kai Lenny is on a different level than most other surfers. He’s got pretty much every kind of water sliding sport on lock: windsurfing, foiling, big wave paddling, towing — you name it, Kai Lenny is good at it. And not just good… he’s REALLY good. Take, for example, this recent little aerial on the open face at Nazaré. Oh yes, it is indeed a chop-hop, but it’s a chop hop of the most epic proportions. A mid-face 360 on a wave that wants to kill him. The consequences of failure on a wave like this would have most surfers just holding on for dear life, but Kai Lenny is doing things usually saved for the mountain. “Been watching @travisrice new film Dark Matter a lot,” he said. And that certainly explains a lot.
